Downingtown, Pa, May 24, 2013 – To mark its 35th anniversary and celebrate the agency’s unique focus, Schubert Communications is changing its name to Schubert b2b.
In 1978 Sony introduced the Walkman, Apple was still two years away from its IPO, and Space Invaders descended on arcades in malls across the country. That same year, Schubert Communications opened its doors as a full-service marketing communications agency. It focused exclusively on businesses that sold goods or services to other businesses, long before the phrase “business to business” was in popular use.
“We have spent 35 years working exclusively with business-to-business companies, helping them build market-leading brands,” said Rich Carango, Schubert b2b president. “We wanted our own brand to clearly communicate that unique dedication to b2b companies. Simply put – we are b2b. Now it’s part of our name.”
Over the years the agency has maintained a roster that includes companies in industries from metalworking to biotechnology to computer technology – maintaining long and prosperous client relationships. Specialty chemical manufacturer Sartomer USA, LLC has been a client for more than 25 years. Industrial fluids leader Houghton has enjoyed the agency’s support for 15 years. And high-tech payment systems company MEI, has been a Schubert b2b client for more than 13 years.
Schubert b2b’s work has received accolades from peers as well. For the past 11 years in a row, Schubert b2b has been named one of the top 100 b2b agencies in the United States by the influential industry publication BtoB Magazine.
The company will update its bold red “S” logo with the new name and an updated visual brand that includes identity graphics, web site, and collateral.
